Our department offers both training of students in different programs like National certificates in automotive mechanics, Uganda community Polytechnic certificates and apprenticeship courses as well as production.

The department has well trained and certified instructors and technicians that assist learners during the training

 On the production part , the department hasa solid 40 year old workshop big enough to accomodate Lorries as well with the following sections: offices, customer reception, store room, spray room, rest room, customer resting area and a separate apprentice learning room. It forms an unique unit together with the new automotive technology workshop building which accommodates  two  student rooms, store room, instructor office and workshop hall with state of the art equipment, both to service the repairs of vehicles as well as training modules for students.
